New Born:Daylin Marie Jones

This summer I was lucky enough to photograph this little beauty! Only a few days old, Daylin along with her family came to my studio for some family shots. Daylin and big sister Gracin looked so cute together. In a few weeks I will get to work with the Jones family for the 3rd time, shooting their Christmas photos, can't wait! :)

The Jones Family: Maternity&Family

A few months ago I was asked to take photos for the Jones family. At that point the family was only weeks away from meeting their newest family member. It was a gorgeous day and a great outdoor location for a family photo session! After our outdoor session we went to my studio for some more photos inside.

Back in July, I had the privilege to photograph Maria and Marco on their wedding day. It was a great day and a beautiful wedding!

First Communion:Ainslie

Last spring I had the opportunity to take photographs for a sweet little girl named Ainslie.
Ainslie was celebrating her "First Communion". This is such a big moment in the Catholic religion for young children. It brought back memories of when I made my First Communion and what an exciting time it was! Overall it was a great celebration and Ainslie looked beautiful!

Well here I go!
To start off my first photo blog I figured it would only be appropriate to start with the first photography job I had ever gotten! My first job was a wedding for Kelly & Ryan, this couple is extra special because it is my "soon to be" sister in law and her husband! Kelly and Ryan were married on October 13th 2007. So how perfect for me to start my blog off with them on their 3rd wedding anniversary. Cheers to the happy couple!

A Start to Something New

A few months ago a good friend and fellow photographer suggested to me that I start up a blog. I wasn't so sure I would have much time or much of anything to put on a blog, but came to realize it isn't quantity it's quality! So after much thinking I figured I would give it a try. I really enjoy looking at my friends blog everyweek so hopefully there will be a few of you to enjoy mine!

This blog will be for showing some of my photography work and to explain my photographic journey as I slowly work my way up the photography ladder. It has been a great and busy summer for me. With working at my full time job of 50+ hours a week, a second part time job that I have recently finished with after 6 years and most importantly my photography jobs. I have had a great summer photographing families, children and couples!

So I will try my best to keep everyone posted on whats new and whats next for me! For now I will start to show some photos that I have taken throughout the last year and go from there. I have a lot of catching up to do! Also keep your eyes peeled for my website update within the next month, I will be adding several new photographs to the site!
